Streets of Addis
My series is predominantly street photography. My images depict scenes from everyday life in Addis Ababa and surrounding areas just outside the city limits. I believe that to really take a timeless photograph, you need to get to know the person or people you are capturing which makes the shoot in itself a truly unique and personal experience for both the subject and the photographer. For me, photography is about the larger idea; the reasoning behind the image is what I consider to be most important. I think it reduces the artistic value when photography gets totally lost in abstraction.
