My name is Amanuel Tsegaye. I am 20 years old and was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I am a self-taught street photographer. I started photography three years ago with a friend of mine. I like taking pictures on the street because so many activities on the street captivate me. Also, street photography captures the nature of the world in the sense that it reflects how society truly acts when it does not believe anyone is watching. I am currently studying urban and regional planning at Addis Ababa University. Outside of photography, in my leisure time I like listening to music, playing guitar, and watching movies.
My collection depicts urban life and cityscapes. It shows some views of Addis Ababa from different buildings and people's movement. The photos show that Addis Ababa is surely one of the fastest growing cities in the world.
